It's been one year since this beautiful wedding at Beaux Vineyard so we thought we'd take a look back. Giuliana and Dave met when they were stationed together in Arlington, VA. But being in the Navy, they kept it casual, knowing Giuliana would soon be assigned a new duty station. Indeed, she was assigned clear across the country. Distance couldn't damper their feelings, in fact, it may have strengthened it. Being far from Giuliana but close to her sister and parents gave Dave an unique opportunity to bond with his future in-laws when he and his three daughters weren't visiting her in Cali.
Eventually, Giuliana's assignment brought her much closer, a mere 3 hours away. After 4 years dating and long distance, Dave proposed and their happily ever after began.
This wasn't a typical Perfectly Yours wedding Desiree, our owner, was a guest while Marie ran the show. Desiree and Giuliana have been best friends since the second grade.
Married at St. Theresa Catholic Church in a beautiful and traditional ceremony, Giuliana and Dave skipped the new "first-look" trend and opted for a "first touch" instead. Giuliana however did do a first look with her father.
Their reception followed at the magnificent Breaux Vineyards. With the live entertainment of The Bachelor Boys Band and a delicious meal by RSVP Catering, the newlyweds threw a splendid party. Dave's brother serving as best man and Giuliana's sister as "best woman" gave funny and heartfelt speeches.
Their fun loving personalities were brought to life in cardboard cutouts of themselves! Cardboard Dave was eventually auctioned off, thanks to his loving new mother-in-law.
Later in the evening, the groom and his college acapella group stole the bride away to serenade her under the stars.
