Perfectly Yours is your stress free wedding planning partner! Started in 2012, Desiree has been a part of weddings of all sizes, budgets, and many different cultures in the Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland area.

Wedding planning isn't just a job, it's a passion. I strive to make every wedding a dream come true for brides and grooms. I want to share my experiences, insights, musings, and help couples with their planning and help relieve stress.

Work Experience

2006-2012

I caught the planning bug while planning my own wedding. It was the most magical time. As friends started getting married, I started helping them. When I was the Day of Coordinator and Matron of Honor at a friend's wedding, I knew I had found my calling. I became a certified Wedding and Event Planner and set out to chase my dream.

2012-2014

Thanks to "Specialious" deal through Northern Virginia Magazine, business took off running! So did my plans of starting a family. I had my son in May 2013 and found out I was pregnant with my second in December.

But with the help of Ashlea, a wonderful neighbor and assistant, we took on over 20 wedding from September 2012 to the end of 2013.

2014 - Present

My business took a backseat for most of 2014 and 2015 has I cared for my family, with only a handful of weddings between them. 2016 I returned focus to my business. I'm taking on more clients and new partnerships, like teaming up with Ma Travail Destinations to help couples with room blocks and honeymoons, and new clients.
